Tengiz Iremadze (1973) Born in Sokhumi. He serves as Professor, Director of Philosophy and Social Sciences Research Institute at Grigol Robakidze University. He graduated from Tbilisi State University Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology in 1998. In 2003, he defended his doctoral dissertation in philosophy at Ruhr University in Bochum (Germany). In 2006-2009 he served as the head of the Department of Georgian and Foreign Philosophy at the Savle Tsereteli Institute of Philosophy. He is the author of four monographs (German and Georgian). Iremadze is one of the co-authors of Stanford Philosophical Encyclopedia and an honorable member of several philosophical-literary societies.
