Eva Kraus has been the Director General of the Bundeskunsthalle – the Art and Exhibition Hall of the Federal Republic of Germany – since 2020. Her programming in recent years has been shaped by socially relevant issues and a strong discursive focus. Previously, she served as Director of the Neues Museum in Nuremberg and headed both a gallery for contemporary art in Munich and a monographic foundation in Vienna. She is a member of numerous juries and advisory boards.
