Mariam Kveselava (1980) French language specialist, translator. In 1997-2001 she studied at Ilia Chavchavadze University of Western Languages and Culture (now Ilia University) at the faculty of French language and then at the Faculty of International Relations. In 2002-2005 she continued her studies at the Paris Sorbonne University (Sorbonne Nouvelle Paris 3) at the Faculty of European Studies at the Department of Modern Studies, where her thesis addressed the coverage of the Chechen war in the French press. In 2011-2012 she earned her MA in Management of Cultural Organizations at Paris Dauphin University (Université Paris Dauphine). In 2005-2017 she worked as a Culture and Communication Coordinator for the Institut Français at the French Embassy in Georgia. She translated Lasha Bugadze's plays (Publishing House Espace d'un instant, Paris). In 2015 she cooperated with Sa.Ga. on the workshop »Political essay film. Topical Cinematic Forms in France and Germany«.
